J. Peter Kiesewetter, the owner and founder of Cornerstone Appraisals and Restoration, LLC has extensive experience within the construction industry. He graduated Susquehanna University with a BS in Economics and Business. Peter began his career in construction with J. Saldutti Builders in Chatham, NJ. During the late 70's and early 80's he worked for Summit Construction in Hoboken and Jersey City, NJ. He began as a framing foreman and eventually became a Senior Project Manager where he oversaw multi-family and historic renovations. After, his tenure with Summit Construction, he worked for Howco Residential Construction Corporation, a fully owned subsidiary of the Howard's Savings Bank. One of his major responsibilities while with Howco included the production of eighty two-family homes in Lawrenceville, NJ. After Howco he moved over to Larken Associates of Hillsborough NJ as a Project Manager in charge of 42 single family homes. In the late 80's, Pete became a senior estimator and marketing manager for First General Services in Sussex and Morris counties. He was a founding partner of Garden State Restoration in the early 90's. Finally in 1993, after decades of experience Peter founded Cornerstone Appraisals & Restoration, LLC and is the sole owner. Peter has completed a course in Successful Subrogation and continues with current industry related training and certifications on an ongoing basis.
